Threading is a precise hair-removal technique that uses a cotton thread to gently lift hair from the root. It’s loved for its clean shape, accuracy (especially brows), and long-lasting results without using harsh chemicals.

What should I do before and after threading?

Yes! threading is one of the most skin-friendly methods because it doesn’t use wax or chemicals. If you have very sensitive skin, we can work gently and apply soothing aftercare. Please tell us about allergies, eczema, or recent treatments before we begin.

Before: Avoid retinol, exfoliants, and strong acids for 24–48 hours if possible (they can make skin more sensitive).
After: Expect slight redness for a short time. Avoid heavy makeup, heat/sauna, and exfoliating products for 24 hours, and apply a gentle moisturiser or soothing gel if needed.

Results typically last 2–4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and the area being threaded. Eyebrows often stay neat longer when maintained regularly.

Everyone’s pain tolerance is different, but most clients describe it as a quick pinch or mild sting especially the first time. The good news: sessions are fast, and most people find it gets easier with regular visits.
